pregnancy relax stretch breathe classes

*** DURING COVID-19, THESE CLASSES ARE VIA ZOOM @  REDUCED PRICE. LEARN ABOUT BIRTH & PRACTISE SKILLS FOR LABOUR IN THE COMFORT OF YOUR OWN HOME IN THIS FEEL-GOOD YOGA-BASED EXERCISE CLASS PLUS ENJOY SOCIAL CHATS ***

My Pregnancy Relax Stretch Breathe classes are on Wednesday evenings over Zoom (usually in Raheny, Dublin 5). This is a gentle weekly yoga-based pregnancy exercise and stretching class but also has antenatal education & discussion built-in plus has time to chat over refreshments which most pregnancy yoga classes don't have. I'm getting great feedback from these classes as they help you prepare yourself for labour & birth and the techniques you learn (breathing, visualisation, positions) can really help you cope in labour. You can join the classes any time you like from 14 weeks and you don't have to commit to a course but I would recommend coming as soon as you can to get the maximum benefit.
  • Enjoy gentle stretches and yoga-based exercises in this feel-good class.
  • Learn positions, breathing, visualisation and relaxation techniques that will help in labour
  • Learn about pregnancy & birth topics from an experienced antenatal teacher
  • Network with other mothers

My Relax Stretch Breathe (RSB) classes are usually on Wednesday evenings in Raheny, Dublin 5  from 7.30-9.15pm but are now over Zoom @ reduced price. These sessions are usually €15 per session if paying each night or €80 for a 6-classs pass to be used over 8 weeks but now are €10 and €55 respectively.

Our weekly Relax, Stretch & Breathe Classes (RSB) give mothers, whether they're expecting their first or fourth baby, an opportunity to get together with other pregnant women and spend time relaxing. Research has shown that gentle yoga-like exercises and relaxation can lead to more straightforward births, more full-term and healthy-weight babies by reducing cortisol (stress hormone) levels. Keeping stress down in the last trimester has been shown to be particularly beneficial.
